He announces a contest in which five gold tickets have been hidden in chocolate bars and sent throughout the country. The kids who find the tickets will be taken on a tour of Wonka's chocolate factory and get to see the factory. The BFG 2015-06-27

One of the really wonderful books by Roald Dahl, 'The BFG' has a Big Friendly Giant (BFG) whose job is to provide pleasant dreams to children. One day, he snatches Sophie from the orphanage and together, the go to deliver friendly dreams to children. The mean giants follow them and so the story continues. You must read the book to find what happens. Overall, a great book.

The Witches 2015-06-27

Of all the Roald Dahl books I have read, I found none as interesting as 'The Witches'. Really, you'll feel that it is spooky from its title, but trust me, this is a really great book. The story's like- There's a boy (the narrator) who lives with his Norwegian grandmother. He introduces the book describing all about witches and how witches detest children. The witches are going to destroy all the children in England and its up to the boy and his grandmother to stop them. Can they do it. Its really scary, but I loved it a lot.

Five Run Away Together 2015-06-28

This is like the other Famous Five Books- simple, easy but nice. Enid Blyton is the first author from whom I began to read books when I was in 3rd grade and so I'LL never dislike her books. This is also a good book worth reading. The four children- Julian, Dick, George and Anne (including their dog which makes Famous Five) are back in the Kirrin Cottage for their holidays but Aunt Fanny is ill,so these kids have to stay at Kirrin Cottage with the cook Mrs Stick, her husband and her son Edgar. The Sticks and the children hate each other as Mrs. Stick doesn't even provide the children with proper food. When Mrs Stick tries to poison George's dog Timmy, George can take it no more. She makes a plan to run away to Kirrin island all by herself but Julian catches her leaving she decides to allow the other children to go with her. At Kirrin Cottage, the hear a child's scream and the children venture to find out. Read the book to know what happens next. By the way, its a proper little mystery you can read.
