Hi there… You must have heard about Ramayana. This is the same story except for the part that it is written from Sita’s perspective. Devi Sita is an incarnation of Devi Lakshmi and Lord Ram is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The two along with many demi-gods have come to destroy evil. Sita and Rama get married together. Later, due to Rama’s cruel stepmother, Rama gets exciled in the forest. His wife accomponanies him. They wander aroung in search of knowledge and blessings from great sages. However, poor Sita gets kidnaped by the cruel King of Lanka- Ravan. Ravan tries to convice Sita to marry him which she flatly refuses. Poor Sita is in a miserable state and waits for her husband to come. Later, Shree Ram fights a war with Ravan and finally wins. Sita comes back to him. However, Ram has a doubt- has the cruel Ravan made Sita impure? Thus, to test his theory Ram asks Sita to walk through fire. Poor Sita realizes that her husband doesn’t trust her but she bravely walks through fire making Sri Ram extremely happy. Later, when they return back, Ram is crowned. But now the people don’t trust her and ask for Sita, who is pregnant, to be banished… These are some of the sad things that happened to her. Please read the story.

Here is a story of one of Lord Vishnu's greatest devotees. I'll just give you a glimpse: Prahlad was born to an enemy of Vishnu, however he used to love Vishnu and prey to him. Infact, he thought about Lord Vishnu to his school freinds. This made his father extremely angry. He tried ways to convince Prahlad that he was the greatest there ever was. But, Prahlad paid no heed. Finally, the monster decided to kill his own son!!! However, the lord always protected the child and in the end killed the monster. You will surely like this story.
