Nightrise is the third book in the power of five series. It has a high thrill and a good plot, but I think it was unnessecarily long, just like the last book in the series, Oblivion. It was also kind of dumb that both twins have the same power, so they combined their two stories into one. It would have been better if they were two seperate people with two seperate powers and two different books.

Usually I don't laugh at words on a page. But this book was so funny, it was an exception. I know Eoin Colfer usually writes thrillers, like her Artimes Fowl series, which is like Alex Rider by Anthony Horowitz. This time, I think Colfer tried something new and wrote a humor instead. I like how they combined fantasy with humor, though, and gave it an interesting storyline that describes a man's life as they go.
