This is nice book(though not good as other Roald Dahl books). The story is about a boy Danny whose mother died when he was 4 months old and he is being brought up by his father, a car mechanic at a petrol station. The father and son live in a caravan. They decide to kill two hundred pheasants belonging to the rich Mr Victor Hazell. You must read this book to know what happens. Overall, a good book.

Danny the Champion of the World (English) by Roald Dahl2016-02-15
This Roald Dahl classic deals with a small boy and his father’s obsession for poaching. Danny, being extremely poor wishes to help his father to accomplish his goal, to poach an entire flock of pheasants. He devises a new method of poaching pheasants, which is very amusing than the old cap raisin method and the horsehair plumage method. He sprinkles some sleeping potion on raisins and feeds them to the pheasants of a rich landlord just before the hunting party. The pheasants fall of the trees as they roost and are collected by them. They are motivated by this success and decide to poach trouts and much more…………I love this book. Witty and funny.
