According to me, its the best book Sudha Murty has written till now. Its like a story within a story. The story of Grandma and her grandchildren and the stories that the grandma narrates. There's a loving Grandma in this book and when she sits to tell her grandchildren a story, even the grown ups can't resist the temptation to listen to the story. There are stories about kings and cheats, monkeys and mice, bears and gods. And much much more stories. I love this grandmother a lot and while reading the book, I felt as if she was my grandmother. So, won't you try this book? Looks really exciting, huh?

In this book there are many stories but my favourite story is KAVERI and the THIEF. Kveri is hardworking wife ,her husband is very lazy.Once a thief came to steal kavery but she was very smart. In thi story it is told that how kavery fools the thief by saying ,a treasure is hidden under the farm. to steal the treasure the thief ploughs all the the farm making easier to plant crops for kavery .Atlast he understands how kavery has fooled the him.
