The Baskerville family is under a curse; each of the heirs to the family will be killed by a hound, known as the Hound of Baskervilles. . The wealthy Sir Charles Baskerville apparently died fleeing in terror from an unknown enemy (probably the hound). Sir Henry Baskerville, nephew of Sir Charles arrives from North America to take possession of the estate of his uncle in Grimpen moor. He seeks protection of the renowned detective Sherlock Holmes. Holmes, busy with other cases, sends the faithful Dr. Watson to the country to keep watch over Sir Henry and send back reports, which are soon flowing with accounts of the gloomy moor and surroundings. Probably, there is something fishy going on in the Grimpen moor and it’s something more than a hound. It’s up to Holmes to solve the mystery. The plot turns and twists throughout the story.
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is my favorite detective and always will be. This is Probably Sherlock Holmes's best mystery till now. By the way, there is clearly no other detective greater than Holmes and no other author greater than Doyle. This book is certainly worth reading.

This book is just amazing. Sir Arthur has just shown the world how much anyone can observe. I know that to write this book he must have observed it himself too. The story, plot and setting come together like the angles in a triangle. They fit so closely and yet are so complicated. It will be one of those fiction books which are connected by threads to reality and still float high in the sky on their fiction's cloud.I salute the eye of Sir Arthur and the brain of Sir Henry. Also no forgetting Sherlock Holmes!
