Its a great book actually a wonderful one. The "Wimpy Kid Movie Diary" is an excellent book that should be a part of every Diary of a Wimpy Kid series collection. It describes, in detail, how the movie was made and the complexities of making a movie from this type of cartoon stick figures style of book. The book details the in's & out's of the movie making process, difficulties, on-set experiences, casting, all the behind the scenes stories, and a lot more.
Between Jeff Kinney's narrative and the great pictures, you really get a sense of what went into making the movie and how complex the process was. It makes both the book and the movie become more alive and interesting. Considering the incredible success of the movie, this is a great book for teaching in schools for drama, education or just general information. An very enjoyable read!
